Encounter
CCMSB Youth Ministry, 6th-12th grade
Welcome! Encounter is the youth group at Chinese Church of Metro South Boston (CCMSB). We meet every Friday night and Sunday morning. We’d love for you to join us and learn more about God!
Our Vision: We want to see youth walking in Christ as we worship, fellowship, study God’s Word, have fun, and love one another.
Our Mission: We exist to make disciples of Christ who will love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Our Strategy: We study God’s Word so we can know who God is, who we have been created to be, and what God’s plan is. We worship and serve God because of how great He is and out of thankfulness for His goodness to us. We connect with one another in order to live out the Christian life together as God has designed so that we grow together, encourage each other, love one another, and share in both the highs and lows of teenage life.
Who are we?
We are 6th-12th grade youth living in the greater Metro South Boston area. We attend schools in Sharon, Canton, Stoughton, Taunton, Norwood, Dedham, Milton, Boston, and even Providence. We are led by Pastor Angie, a second-generation Taiwanese-American, who previously served at Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston. Angie has a passion for youth to know Jesus because she was a teenager when she first got excited about Jesus.
When do we meet?
On Fridays, we meet for worship, games, Bible study, and small groups from 8:00pm-10:00pm. On Sundays, we meet for Sunday School from 9:30am-11:45am.
Join us for English Sunday Worship service 11am-12:15pm every first and third Sunday.
What fun activities do you do?
We always have fun we get together, but we also have special activities, like outings, hangouts, service projects, and retreats.
When can I join?
We welcome newcomers all year round. We have registration in the fall and a kick-off event around the start of school, but we have new youth join us throughout the year, whether on Friday or on Sunday.
